Nicole K. Smith

Nicole K. Smith is a highly skilled attorney with four years of experience representing multinational companies in civil litigation. Nicole has a strong background in legal strategy and has proven success in navigating complex legal issues.
In the last few years, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought increased loss, stress, and overall uncertainty, highlighting the importance of mental health. In particular, Nicole saw the disproportionate effects of the pandemic on communities of color and the stigma that often surrounds mental health issues within these communities. Nicole is deeply committed to raising awareness and improving the lives of those who are affected by mental health issues as well as breaking down barriers to accessing care.
With a deep understanding of the legal system and a passion for mental health advocacy, Nicole is excited to join the board of PEERS to bring valuable insight and work tirelessly to help the organization achieve its mission.
Nicole graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.A. in Economics and the University of Pennsylvania with a J.D. and a M.B.A. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, and watching classic films.
