LEVS Speakers Bureau

Lift Every Voice and Speak (LEVS) is our Speakers Bureau. We offer members opportunities to live, love, grow, educate and heal through telling personal stories in a warm, engaging, and supportive environment. LEVS is a group of individuals with diverse backgrounds, interests, talents, and aspirations, who have lived experience of mental health as well as perspectives on how to build and maintain wellness in our lives. We work together to support each other’s efforts to develop our confidence, and to share personal stories that educate, enlighten, and inspire ourselves and our communities about mental health.

What We Offer:

Speaking Engagements
Are you interested in having an LEVS Speakers Bureau member speak at your organization or event? Please contact Zakiya Johnson at zjohnson@peersnet.org or (510) 832-7337.

Bi-Monthly LEVS Member Meeting
Are you interested in public speaking? Do you want to share your story of recovery and encourage others in the community? Are you looking to enhance your public speaking skills?  Our speakers bureau Lift Every Voice & Speak (LEVS) has limited openings for new speakers.

LEVS meets every first and third Wednesday of the month from 10 am – 12 pm. If you’re available during these times, we invite you to apply. Join an amazing group of people who are touching hearts and instilling hope with their stories.

Click here for the application and submit it to Zakiya Johnson at zjohnson@peersnet.org or bring the application to our office.
