Kimberly Marquez-Cortes
Kimberly Marquez-Cortes (She/Her/Hers) is the Programs Manager at PEERS overseeing WRAP®, Special Messages and Communications and Outreach with over a decade of experience working in mental health.
Kimberly is an Advanced Level WRAP® Facilitator and has worked directly with the Copeland Center for Wellness and Recovery to provide WRAP® workshops and training at a statewide and national level. She was a part of a small youth team that co-authored the WRAP® for Youth with Mary Ellen Copeland, PhD. In addition, Kimberly has had the opportunity to be a conference keynote speaker for CAMHPRO in Sacramento and Alternatives in Washington DC. She has supported the implementation of programs, and executed grants for youth peer-led groups and training on a national level. Kimberly was one of the original members of Doors To Wellbeing’s National Youth Advisory Council, SAMHSA-funded National Consumer Technical Assistance Center. Kimberly was recognized for her work with young adults as a recipient of the TAY Provider of the Year Award from the Pool of Consumer Champions. |
