Mental Health Matters is an award-winning public access television show dedicated to empowering mental health consumers, informing the public, and ending mental health stigma and discrimination.
Created by Rev. Barbara Meyers in 2007, the show began as a grassroots effort and has grown to become a flagship product of the PEERS Social Inclusion Campaign. Hosted by Rev. Meyers and Shannon Eliot, Mental Health Matters explores a wide array of topics related to mental health, including personal stories of recovery, peer support, policy, and the latest developments in the consumer movement.
Viewers can watch episodes either online or on Thursdays at 9:30 pm on their local Comcast channel below:
